Enamo Grip Applications

  • Airless or pot sprayed: tip size .015 – .019; apply in two coats
  • Roller: use 1/4″ nap commercial roller; apply in two coats using an added bubble breaker in formula
  • Brush: use soft bristle brush; apply in two coats
  • Add an additional coat for vertical surfaces

Applied rate:

  • Metal: 250 sq. ft./gal. (23 sq.m./gal.)
  • Concrete or wood: 200 sq. ft./gal. (18.5 sq.m./gal.)

Film thickness:

  • Wet: Metal – 6.5 mils (165 microns)
    Concrete – 8 mils (200 microns)
  • Dry: Metal – 3 mils (76 microns)
    Concrete – 4 mils (100 microns)

Temperature:

  • 50° F (10° C) – 100° F (38° C)
  • Colder temperatures will increase dry time

Dry times:

  • 1 hour to touch
  • 4 hours to handle
  • 2 hours to recoat

Full cure:

  • 4-5 days in warm temps
  • 7-10 days in cool temps

Precautions:

  • 4 hour pot life at 70° F
  • 1 hour pot life at 90° F
  • Strong odor during application and initial curing

Limitations:

  • Not intended for use on food preparation surfaces that are in direct contact with food
  • Do not apply over wet or moist surfaces.
  • Surfaces must be clean and dry
  • 6 to 8 hour pot life in normal ambient temperatures. 1 to 1.5 hour pot life in temperatures above 85 degrees F
